On December 19, 2024, I had the pleasure of developing a scenographic design and exhibition display proposal for the photographic exhibition En Nombre del Padre. Led by photographer Carlos Cabrera and co-directed by filmmaker Javi Scaccabarrozzi, the series explores the construction of male identity and the intersection between the intimate and the universal. The exhibition was held at Plano Libre, an artist-run space based in Lima, Peru.

The choice of venue—a house designed by a renowned architect of Lima's modern movement—was intentional. Its distinct spatial qualities, marked by a cinematic character, provided the ideal setting for creating a visual narrative that directly interacts with Cabrera's work. Additionally, the architectural intervention incorporated elements and colors drawn from the photographs, while leveraging the unique features of the space to enrich the museographic experience. This approach transformed the house into an immersive stage where art, architecture, and storytelling converge.

En Nombre del Padre merges art and architecture in a way that transcends the visual, offering an immersive experience that reflects the ongoing dialogue between body, space, and identity.
